#TTT Call Your Credit Card Company

This is definitely one of the most important thing to do when you travel, especially overseas. It is important to take some time and contact your credit card company to let them know that you are traveling. Why you ask? If you charge your card and didn’t notify your credit card, they will most likely decline the charge and place a block on your card thinking that this is fraud.

My credit card makes it super easy for me to set these travel notifications by logging onto my account and either sending a secure message or filling out a brief form that takes no more than 2 minutes.

So do yourself a favor and contact your credit card company at least 2 weeks prior to your departure.

Until next time,
